To the Editor:

Ben Sanchez is running for the Pa. state representative position for the 153rd Legislative District, the seat vacated by Madeleine Dean, as she is running for the U.S. House of Representatives. Ben is a lifelong resident of this district, a graduate of Abington Senior High School, Villanova University and Temple Law. He knows this community well and has shown the ability and dedication to represent the hardworking residents of Upper Dublin and Abington in Harrisburg.

Ben supports common-sense gun safety legislation, such as universal background checks and gun violence restraining orders, that will make all Pennsylvanians safer. He has been designated a common sense candidate by Ceasefire PA and is ready to take on the NRA in Harrisburg.

Additionally, Ben believes that cost should never be a barrier to accessing the health care we need. As your state representative, Ben will work to expand access to affordable, quality health care for all Pennsylvanians, control rising health insurance premiums, provide consumers with greater transparency when purchasing insurance and medical services and pass legislation to encourage better patient outcomes and healthier communities.

I proudly support Ben Sanchez as our next state representative and hope you will join me at the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
